Mrs T Wedding 2024 Season

Wedding Locations

In 2024 we planned weddings in Oxford, Buckinghamshire, London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Oxford wedding planning: In Oxford, we returned to the Bodleian Library four times, while also planning weddings at Balliol College and in Henley-on-Thames.

Buckinghamshire wedding planning: Buckinghamshire saw some incredible Mrs T weddings at Waddesdon Dairy. We planned four stunning celebrations, all styled uniquely and using the venue in completely different ways.

London wedding planning: In London, we found ourselves on the outskirts of Regents Park at The Danish Church. It has the most gorgeous little green space perfect for post-ceremony afternoon celebrations.

Hertfordshire wedding planning: Our travels to Hertfordshire took us twice to the monolithic architectural prowess of St Albans Cathedral.

Over in Bedfordshire we encountered the quaint and quintessential English village of Eversholt.

UK Destination Weddings

Many of our 2024 weddings were UK destination weddings for couples living overseas. All four of our Oxford weddings were for international couples living in Mexico, America, Germany and Hong Kong. Our St Albans weddings were planned for one couple residing in Boston, USA, and an expat Canadian bride-to-be now settled in the UK with her British fiancé.

Multi-faith Wedding Planning

We continued to plan Jewish weddings in 2024, with two ceremonies, one in Oxford and one at Waddesdon Dairy. We also planned weddings with Christian, Roman Catholic, Lutheran and Hindu celebrations, and around a third of our weddings were humanist ceremonies.

Pets at Weddings

2024 saw a return of much loved four-legged friends being part of some of our couples’ wedding days. Labradoodle, Maverick, was a ringbearer for K&A, while beloved horse, Starsky, was an incredible moment at E&A’s wedding. We also had service dogs at weddings this year, and we organised a special 10 year anniversary weekend in the Cotswolds for a couple from France that was dog-friendly for their two pups.

Rise of the Champagne Tower

A quarter of our couples in 2024 opted for a champagne tower during their reception. Of these couples, 50% chose towers instead of a wedding cake, while the other 50% had both. We’re interested to see if this is a trend that continues into 2025.

Dreamy wedding draping

We were absolutely thrilled to work with the OG Queen of draping, Mia Sylvia, at E&A’s fairytale wedding at Waddesdon Dairy. We returned to this styling choice again a few months later with K&A, taking a different form and texture. It’s no secret that draping has exploded onto the scene and is set to continue to be a huge trend in 2025.

Fabulous wedding florals

It was another brilliant year for incredible floral installations. In Oxford we worked with the wonderful team at Fabulous Wedding Flowers four times, each with completely different colour schemes and choice of blooms. We worked with the phenomenal Amie Bone twice, in St Albans and Waddesdon, where no surface, sill, doorway or mantelpiece was left unflowered! It was brilliant to reunite once again with gorgeous talents of Ivy Amelia, Nong Smitinand and Cloud Hill Flowers who are a joy!
