Mrs T Weddings’ 2022 Wedding Season is now largely complete. Here, we take a look back over all the incredible celebrations of love we’ve planned since May.

What’s most exciting is how varied all of our weddings have been. We’re often asked what a ‘Mrs T’ wedding looks like. It’s with immense pride that the answer is: there is no signature look! The only focus that runs throughout each our weddings is what we call relaxed luxury. Beyond this it’s all about bespoke, authentic weddings that reflect how unique each of our couples are.

Read on for a whistlestop tour of the wonderful celebrations we’ve planned this wedding season…

MAY

Our peak wedding season kicked off with T&K over at The Dairy at Waddesdon. As the venue’s preferred wedding planner, this was an incredible way to start. The brief was ‘floral abundance’ and fabulous food, and wow did our suppliers deliver. Focal florals (which you may have seen grace our insta) included a hanging chandelier, adorned centaur, elaborate urn and a flower-crowned ox, along with an epic trailing table runner that smelled DIVINE!

Onto P&B with their iconic church wedding followed by a beautiful marquee in Northamptonshire farmland. With a 360◦ of cornfields and countryside, Land Rover Defender wedding car entrance these two made the most of a gorgeous rural setting.

JUNE

Staying in Northamptonshire, N&R’s wedding took place in the stunning grounds of Flore House, where again we are a preferred wedding planner. With a 9-hole crazy golf course and horsebox bar, guests took advantage of the incredible sunshine as they took over the sprawling estate.

By mid-June we were back at The Dairy at Waddesdon where ‘floral abundance’ was again the phrase of the day for S&E. With epic installations from Ivy Amelia Florals, the groom arriving via rowboat, personalised scenting from Jo Malone and one hell of a party, these two brought the house down!

For D&D’s special day, Mrs T Weddings went to Farnham, Surrey, at the brilliant Millbridge Court. With a gorgeous colour palette and so many chic, stylish and personal touches, their photography and videography team were spoilt for choice with content of this adorable family-friendly wedding.

Just one day later, Constance and Nina headed to Richmond-on-Thames for G&H’s incredible riverside bash at Bingham Riverhouse. Their fantastic outdoor celebrant-led hand-tying ceremony was filled with completely personal moments of this lovely couple’s story. A backdrop of relaxed acoustic guitar serenaded guests throughout the afternoon, while not forgetting the star of the day – their gorgeous dog Bertie.

JULY

Onto July and first up was E&F’s intimate garden ceremony and tipi reception. A day filled with so much colour, pizazz and LOTS of sequins, their evening entertainers, Soul Groove, had guests tearing up the dancefloor.

By mid-July it was time for a double wedding with the Mrs T Team split between Hertfordshire and Kent. For J&B who flew in from the States, Helen, Elaine and Aimee looked after their epic three-day celebrations held at The Grove Hotel, featuring an outdoor ceremony in the landscaped amphitheatre adorned by Hayford & Rhodes flowers.

For H&SThe Oak Barn at Frame Farm was a gorgeous rustic setting for their celebrations, looked after by Constance. With a friend of H&S performing as the live singer for the bridal entrance and heartfelt signature cocktails, theirs was a day full of special memories.

Constance and Nina then teamed up in Bedfordshire for C&O’s celebrations at Tip Top Venues – a beautiful lakeside setting for their tipi wedding, where everything was about spending time having fun with the people they love the most.

For R&E’s wedding, the team were in the heart of Oxford at The Bodleian Library where Mrs T Weddings is a preferred wedding planner. This New York-based couple had a spectacular day in the library’s jaw-dropping Divinity School, with their couples entrance set to the dramatic sounds of Game of Thrones ‘Red Wedding’ played beautifully by Nero String Quartet.

AUGUST

August was a very busy month starting with B&J’s wedding at Swinfen Hall where they made use of multi-coloured smoke bombs for some spectacular wedding photography. A real family-friendly wedding where the kids were tearing up the dancefloor all night.

As the summer heatwave set in, the team were back in Oxford and back at The Bodleian Library for E&E’s exquisite celebrations. With many elegant and traditional touches including a vintage Rolls Royce as the bridal party transport, top hat and tails morning suits and a stunning Phillipa Lepley lace gown, their wedding day was set across some of Oxford’s most iconic buildings including The Randolph Hotel, Oriel College and Old Bank Hotel.

Staying in Oxfordshire, Constance and Elaine were at the historic Blenheim Palace for M&D’s fabulous wedding. With stunning flowers by the incredibly talented Jamie Aston, a show-stopping modern cake, bubbles instead of confetti, and jaw-dropping performance from Drag Queen, Vanity Von Glow, these two had an utterly unique day that was a perfect reflection of them as a couple.

The August Bank Holiday weekend was another double wedding starting with O&N’s marquee celebrations in Buckinghamshire, nestled between Henley and Marlow. With the ethereal sounds of a harpist floating over the cricket grounds, this was a stunning English country wedding. The incredibly talented catering team from Nyama cooked in the traditional South African style on the braai open fire, tasting out of this world!

The following day, Constance, Elaine and Lyndsey travelled to the tiny village of Murcott in Oxfordshire for the intimate garden celebrations of L&J. With homegrown dahlias lovingly arranged by family members, to the most glitterballs the team has ever seen in one location, to rustic feasts prepared from the back of a Land Rover, this wedding was filled with L&J’s signature style and fun-loving personalities.

SEPTEMBER

Entering September, and with only a handful of weddings remaining, Mrs T Weddings was back in Oxford for a special alumni wedding of A&M. Their Oxford College Ball vibes saw a myriad of entertainment and catering options on site at Worcester College.

K&N’s marquee celebrations saw Constance, Aimee and Jess in the beautiful village of Little Houghton, Northamptonshire. Featuring an elaborate bar structure festooned with autumnal florals by the fabulous Donna and the team from The Country Garden Florist and drawing on both of their family history, this gorgeous couple’s entertainment ranged from pipers to steel bands.

Over in Berkshire, Nina was looking after J&J for their church ceremony in Sonning followed by their reception at The Great House. With the most heart-warming guest appearance from Woody aka ‘Sir Woodrick’, their gorgeous pup, these two let their hair down in style on the dancefloor, with a bridal outfit change into a mini-jumpsuit and performance from the groom accompanied by the band!

And with that, there was just one wedding remaining of the summer season and it was back to where it started at The Dairy at Waddesdon for S&A. With seasonal change in the air, The Winter Garden space was awash with gorgeous autumnal florals from Hopyard Lane. This was a day which was family focused, with a vintage children’s carousel, nannies on hand and sweets and treats galore, with plenty of His and Her cocktails for the adults!

With so many special memories locked-in, this wedding season has been truly phenomenal and quite exceptional in its number of celebrations. Mrs T Weddings still has some gorgeous winter ceremonies to come and has some dates remaining for September onwards in 2023 when the team returns to its traditional schedule.
